Background Information:

The approximate 3.43 acres is located 1,400 feet southeast of the intersection of Clovis Barker Road and Leah Avenue and is surrounded by light industrial uses and vacant land. This land is city-owned and intended for continued use as an electric substation. The site is located within an Employment Area on the 2013 preferred scenario map. Zoning is not proposed with this annexation; Future Development “FD” is the default zoning district for any annexed property unless zoned otherwise.

The City of San Marcos is the water, wastewater, and electric provider.
