Background Information:
During its regular meeting on July 6, 2021, City Council approved a resolution allocating approximately $9 million in American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding to various City projects aimed at improving the San Marcos economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. At their regular meeting on September 7, 2021, the City Council also approved a resolution establishing an Interlocal Agreement between the City and Texas State University for the provision of work related to a comprehensive needs assessment related to homelessness in San Marcos.
