Background Information:
In 2018, the Wallace Addition drainage improvements feasibility study was initiated to identify improvements required to mitigate flooding within the subdivision. As a result of this study, it was determined that the existing Cape Street channel and the Staples Road ditch and associated culverts do not have adequate capacity to convey 25-year fully developed storm event.
The proposed improvements include Cape Channel improvements, culverts upsizing and Staples Road ditch diversion via a proposed culvert under Staples Road and a channel along fish hatchery property. Proposed improvements will alleviate surface runoff...
