Background Information:
In 2010, the City of San Marcos contracted with TDS to provide recycling at all multifamily properties. Resource Recovery has an active program to educate residents in multifamily complexes, but still see lots of contamination in the carts and dumpsters during audits. Nationwide, common challenges with multifamily recycling are participation and contamination.
