Background Information:
Residential structures and properties flood and drain poorly after every rainfall event along Academy Street between Orchard Street and Sessom Drive. Grate inlets along Orchard Street clog during every rainfall event and prevent adequate drainage. The existing drainage system (private) is undersized and TX State has exacerbated flooding by tying in drainage from a curb inlet into Academy.
