Background Information:
An existing 6-inch clay wastewater line on San Antonio St between Wilson St. and Johnson Ave. collapsed on December 29, 2017. The collapse occurred while the Public Services Department was investigating a blockage called in by a resident. A temporary repair was made but an immediate full replacement is necessary due to the deteriorated condition of the pipe. If left unrepaired/replaced the line is highly likely to collapse again.
Rocking Q Construction LLC is currently working on the Reclaimed Water Expansion Project and will be adding this to their scope of work. A change order will be processed in the amount of $78,792.35 to replace the existing main with an 8" PVC pipe. All existi...
