BACKGROUND

In compliance with Federal Register Notice 5938-N-01 which references processes and procedures to access the U. S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) CDBG-DR $25,080,000 Disaster Recovery Funds, the City must:

                     Demonstrate its capacity to financially manage and administer grant funds, projects and programs;

                     Assess May and October 2015 flood area needs and funding gaps; and

                     Prioritize use of the funds by formulation of an Action Plan.

 

Tonight, AECOM will review the grant process, as well as, the results of our citizen participation and Needs Assessment and discuss the next steps in the CDBG- DR process.
