Background Information:
A 2% increase is recommended by the City Council for the City Attorney, Michael Cosentino, in recognition of performance above expectations.
Mr. Cosentino is committed to transparency in government. His knowledge of municipal law is extensive and he has invaluable institutional memory from his years with the City, which is helpful through organizational changes. He exhibits a desire to protect the integrity and reputation of the City of San Marcos through knowledgeable application of the law.
This increase should be effective May 1, 2022.
