Background Information:
Proper erosion control materials are needed for all construction, ground disturbing activities, or illicit discharges to prevent discharges into the storm sewer system and prevent water pollution or wildlife habitat loss in the City’s rivers, creeks, and waterways. This contract will allow the Stormwater Division of the Public Works Department to purchase erosion control materials including curb inlet protection, soil retention blankets, and gabion baskets.
Solicitation 222-205 for Erosion Control Materials was released May 1, 2022; one bid was received on the May 26, 2022, from Triton Environmental, LLC.
Staff recommends award to Triton Environmental, LLC., Haltom City, Texas.
