Background Information:
The rules of procedure for city council committees were approved by City Council on April 20, 2021 and are attached for reference. The proposed amendments are attached as a redline document for your review. After discussion this evening, this item will come forward for formal action at a subsequent City Council meeting.

Mayor Hughson has provided some changes to the Council Committee Rules to address the questions posed about council committee meetings and the format in which they are conducted.

The document includes defining three types of committees. General, Specific, Purpose and suggested standard meeting formats for each which committees can alter as needed for any committee meeting.
