Background Information:
Currently, the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee exists and meets according to the minimum requirements in state law, Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 823. The recommendation resolution being presented reflects the Committee's desire to have a more active role in supporting the Animal Shelter and its leadership team.
