Background Information:
This purchase is for the acquisition of 10 police model Dodge Chargers for FY22 for the Police Department from Cowboy Motor Co of Silsbee, TX through TIPS purchasing cooperative contract #TX998061.
This order will provide the acquisition, upfitting, and delivery of 10 Chargers to meet this need. The City's ability to place the order as soon as City Council approves this purchase is crucial as the vehicles will be in production for approximately 90-150 days, so an anticipated delivery date is mid-March 2022.
