Background Information:
As part of efforts to prepare Texas' critical infrastructure for extreme weather emergencies the 87th Texas Legislature (2021) passed Senate Bill 3, which amended various sections of the Texas Code including Texas Water Code Chapter 13 (Water Rates and Services), to include additional provisions for emergency preparedness (Section 13.1394 Standards of Emergency Operations).
