Background Information:
The City is a participant in the Alliance Regional Water Authority (ARWA) project to bring a new groundwater supply to San Marcos in order to meet water future demand. At the May 4th meeting the purchase of a new water storage site was approved by City Council.
This change in service to contract #219-051 is required to provide additional services by Plummer Associates, Inc. for the design of the proposed Blanco Vista Elevated Storage Tank (EST) in the Blanco Vista subdivision. The EST will be one of two delivery points for the new surface water supply into the City’s system. The other delivery point is the storage tanks at the surface water treatment plant.
