Background Information:
The consideration of a multiyear Lease of Park Premises that was authorized by the voters in 2010 between the San Marcos Lions Club and City of San Marcos is due for renewal prior to the April 10, 2021 expiration.
The Parks and Recreation Board has submitted a Recommendation Resolution for Council’s discussion regarding their recommended amendments. The San Marcos Lions Club has also submitted a response to the City Council regarding the Parks & Recreation Board’s recommendation and what they are agreeable to including as amendments to the lease.
Staff will present historical information and all recommendations to City Council for discussion and direction.
