Background Information:
The City Council included in the adopted Budget Policy the amount of $500,000 to be award in Social Services funding to local agencies. The Human Services Advisory Board (HSAB) receives applications annually and meets to review applications, perform on site agency visits, and hold applicant interviews for social services agencies that apply for Social Services funding. The Board makes a recommendation to City Council on how the funds should be awarded to the agencies.
