Background Information:
In October 2018 the city commenced Mill Street reconstruction project in the original contract amount of $2,419,619.05. With additional change orders the revised contract amount was increased to $2,651,188.04. Construction is complete and this change order is to rectify all of the quantities and to close out the project. After final reconciliation of quantities, this change order reduces the contract value by $200,001.98. Final project changes are 1.3% over the original contract amount.
The Project Scope included the reconstruction of Mill Street from south of the intersection of Mill Street and Uhland Road to the north; to tie to the new section previously constructed. Tasks included full depth pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, traffic control, bike lanes, intersection improvements at Mill St and Uhland Rd, landscaping and irrigation and waterline relocations.
