Background Information:

In December 2017 a formal solicitation was issued for Removal of Invasive Plants in Riparian Buffer in the San Marcos River.  Cuda Conservation was awarded the contract from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018, with four (4) one year renewal options.

The contract includes an increase of 1.3%, according to the 2020 Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners & Clerical Workers as published by the US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.  Increasing the annual contract amount for 2021 to $39,520.75.

The subsequent renewals of this contract increased the amount to over $50,000 and therefore must be approved by the City Council.
