Background Information:
On April 18, 2008 the San Marcos City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2008-16 to annex a 563.767 acre tract of property located in Hays and Guadalupe counties (The Mayan Tract) and a 13.069 acre tract which connected The Mayan Tract to the then existing corporate limits of the city.
