Background Information:
During the City Council meeting held on September 1, 2020, the Council provided direction to staff to create an application for service on this committee and publish it for citizen interest through September 30, 2020. Additionally, Council further directed an item to be placed on the September 15, 2020 agenda that will allow Council to discuss the operational plan of this committee and provide direction to staff. After some deliberation about the process that should be used for nomination of members, Council decided to use the process most often used to establish board and commission membership.
