Background Information:
A joint workshop between the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council was held in June 2019. At that workshop the Council and Commission provided direction to move forward with changes related to typos, scrivener's errors, graphical errors, and technical errors which Staff had identified and documented over the first year of the Code's use. The group also identified two policy related amendments that were approved by the Historic Preservation Commission and could be brought forward for consideration immediately. In addition, the 2019 Legislative Session has produced a number of House Bills that require amendments in order to meet State law.
