Background Information:
At the August 6, 2019 the City Council approved a Meet and Confer Agreement with the San Marcos professional Firefighter Association. The City Council was advised at that meeting that amendment would be coming back to address an issue which had been identified regarding promotions. This Amendment #1 is made to Article 4, Wages and Compensation, Section 1, Subsection 3.c. to specifically address promotional progression from Driver Engineer to Captain in the San Marcos Fire Department.
