Background Information:
Staff recommends approval of annual renewal in the amount of $24,000 for contracted services provided by the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce for a total current contract amount $50,100.
The San Marcos Area of Chamber of Commerce provides the following services to the City:
• Distribute CVB tourism materials and information
• Respond/transfer telephone inquiries to CVB Staff
• Provide usage of board and conference rooms as need if available
• Provide one office space for storage us of CVB promotional materials
• Provide temporary storage space for promotional and event supplies as needed
• Provide use of Chamber building on July 4 for staging, operations and storage of the annual Summerfest San Marcos festival
