Background Information:
The City entered into the original "Regional Project Agreement" with the GBRA in 1997 for the development of a regional surface water supply project to meet future water needs to reduce dependence on the Edwards Aquifer by providing an alternate source of water to the City and surrounding area. This agreement has been modified over the years to include items needed to address changes in the management and operation of the project while maintaining reference to past obligations, except as specifically amended by agreement of both parties.
