Background Information:
This is a professional services agreement between the City and Brown and Gay Engineers, Inc. is for $124,035.00 and includes preliminary engineering design services for an 8” waterline extension on Briarwood and drainage improvements across IH-35 near the River Ridge Parkway intersection. This project is funded with City water/wastewater and drainage funds. Concluding preliminary design in early 2020 and after options have been presented in the Preliminary Engineering Report, the City anticipates negotiating with Brown and Gay, final design services. Construction is scheduled for mid-2021.
On April 16, 2019 City Council approved a list of fifteen most highly qualified Engineering firms in response to a solicitation for On-Call Water and Wastewater Engineering Services, 219-129 to provide professional Engineering services as needed in connection with current and future Water/Wastewater capital improvements projects. Brown and Gay Engineers, Inc. was selected for this project from the previously approved list of qualified engineering firms.
