Background Information:
In March, The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) held a statewide Call for Projects for the Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TASA) Program which provides funding to construct alternative transportation projects that improve mobility for non-motorized users and mitigates congestion by providing transportation options. The Hopkins Street/Hwy 80 Shared Use Path (SUP) project was submitted and the application has been selected for the next round prior to award for federal funding.
