Background Information:
On January 29, 2019 City Council received a Staff Presentation and held a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Ordinance 2019-04, that would amend section 4.5.2.1(b)(2) of the City’s Development Code to establish the Thompson/Cape Dam and Ditch Engineering Structure, otherwise known as the "mill race," near the intersection of Cape Road and the San Marcos River as a Local Historic Landmark.
After receiving comments, Council postponed this item and asked that Staff bring back with six months. This is an update on Cape’s Dam.
