Background Information:
The original CDBG-DR Housing Case Management and Pre-Construction contract with AECOM terminated on May 21, 2019. These services include: determining applicant eligibility, inspecting properties, writing cost estimates, writing duplication of benefits reports, record-keeping, completing environmental reviews, providing document management, providing legal services, providing design services, providing pre-construction topographical Surveys, providing Initial Elevation Certificates, providing foundation engineering, and providing redesign.
Currently, the City has seven pending applications for housing reconstruction and needs to extend the contract for Case Management and Pre-Construction Services to December 31, 2019 to complete the Single Family Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Activity. The cost to extend the Case Management and Pre-Construction services is $58,723.54.
The original contract with AECOM for Housing Case Management and Pre-Construction Services totaled $642,605 and was approved by City Council August 1, 2017. An Amendment was approved by City Council September 11, 2018 for the reallocation of funds within tasks within the original contracted cost.
