Prior Council Action: Presentation on the 2020 Census was given at the January 15, 2019 Work Session meeting. On February 19, 2019 Council adopted Resolution 2019-35R, supporting the United States Census Bureau by creating a Census 2020 Complete Count Committee. On April 16, 2019 Council made initial appointments to fill specific roles on the Census 2020 Complete Count Committee.

Background Information:
On January 15, 2019 a presentation was given by representatives of the U.S. Census Bureau regarding the 2020 Census. On February 19, 2019 Council adopted a Resolution creating the Census 2020 Complete Count Committee. The City Clerk's office with support of the Communications department reached out to community members and sent out media releases for a call for applicants. Council made appointments on April 16th.
