Background Information:
On November 7, 2018, staff gave a presentation at a Council Work Session on Animal Services. Staff recommendation was to adopt a resolution to bring back, within 6 months, an implementation plan with timeline to achieve a 90% live outcome rate within 5 years. We plan to work closely with the community and regional partners, with assistance from third party experts/consultants, to develop a comprehensive plan to incrementally implement intervention programs in each community and start allocating additional funding each year.
