Background Information:
During the construction phase of the Ranch Road 12 Substation Transformer Upgrade project, it was discovered that the substation ground grid and perimeter fence grounding does not meet current standards for substation equipment grounding and personnel protection.
Lambda Construction, Ltd is the contractor for project, has submitted pricing for correcting the existing condition by installing a new perimeter ground loop and grounding the security fencing. This change order in the amount of $50,682 will correct the nonconforming conditions.
