Background Information:
Sac-N-Pac Stores, Inc., the owners of Lot 3, SAC-N-PAC Centerpoint Subdivision has requested the City Council approve the release of a 20 foot wastewater easement that transverses Lot 3, SAC-N-PAC Centerpoint Subdivision.
• The purpose of this 20 foot wastewater easement was to facilitate the location of a 12 inch wastewater line designed to provide wastewater for this property and other properties beyond this subdivision.
• As a prerequisite to releasing this 20 ft wastewater easement, the owners had to establish a new 20 foot wastewater easement and install a new 12 inch wastewater line to replace the existing wastewater line that was to be abandoned.
• The property owner has completed the Resubdivision of Lot 3, SAC-N-PAC in which:
o a 20 foot public utility easement along the southern property line was dedicated; and
o a 20 foot waterline and wastewater line easement was dedicated
• The property owner has installed a new wastewater line within the new 20 foot easement. This new wastewater line has been accepted by the City’s Engineering Department.
• The old 12 inch wastewater line has been abandoned.
