Background Information:

Approval of this Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached Utility Easement, providing Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) an easement and right-of-way for construction and maintenance of an electric distribution line.

On June 5, City Council approved a ground lease with Berry Aviation for the construction of a maintenance facility/hangar at the airport. Construction has advanced to the point where Pedernales Electric Cooperative is ready to extend electric utilities from existing poles along Airport Drive to the new facility and is requesting an easement for this electric distribution line.
