Background Information:
During the August 2 budget work session, the rental or purchase of a temporary building was discussed. The building will house current and future staff at the City Hall complex as all current office space is being fully utilized. The new building is approximately 2,000 square feet and will be finished out with office space, ADA bathrooms and open space. City Council was presented with the option to buy the building or rent the building over an approximate 4 year term. The was a consensus to purchase the building.
