Background Information:

This project included constructing a new 12-inch waterline under the San Marcos River at Cheatham Street. Due to unforeseen ground conditions the contractor could not complete the bore. Construction was suspended after Memorial Day, to restart after Labor Day, while the bore alignment was redesigned. This change order includes a revised cost for the new bore, deducts quantities no longer required, and includes items that were added during the first phase of construction.

The construction of the waterline improves service reliability to the downtown and neighborhoods along the San Marcos River.
