Background Information:
The scope of work includes the construction of a new 500,000 gallon single pedestal spheroid reclaimed water elevated storage tank, with yard piping, chlorinator, tank mixing equipment, electrical and SCADA controls, complete and in place.
On July 19, 2018, the City received five (5) bids for the Reclaimed Water Expansion Project - Elevated Storage Tank project, in accordance with City Purchasing Policy and State Law. City staff as well as Kenneth Tillman, P.E. of RPS evaluated bids, and recommend award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, CB&I, Inc., located in Houston, Texas, in the amount of $1,841,000.
