Background Information:
The City of San Marcos would like to participate in the Department of Information Resources Shared Services Program. The DIR Shared Services Program includes services such as Managed Security Services (MSS), Data Center Services (DCS) Managed Application Services (MAS). The program offers a variety of services and related support and products and may work with third-party vendors to provide additional services or products within the requirements of the relevant DIR Shared Services Contract. Texas Government Code Sec. 2054.0565 allows Texas municipalities to utilize the Shared Services Program.
