Background Information:
The McCarty Commons development is beginning the first phase of development off of McCarty Road. This phase includes the construction of a 10 acre multi-family site and the extension of public infrastructure.
The public improvements associated with the development include street construction off of McCarty Road, wastewater and drainage improvements. The City has a planned Capital Improvements Project to construct a 24 inch waterline within the limits of the development. The City has requested to include these improvements with the development and cost participate in the construction of this work. The 24 inch waterline extension is a Water Master Plan project to increase the supply of surface water to west side of IH-35 and is identified as an impact fee CIP project.
