Background Information:
On March 8, 2018, seven (7) bids were received for SMEU Substation Maintenance, IFB 218-199. Pike Electric, LLC, located in Creedmoor, Texas is the lowest responsible responsive bidder with a bid amount of $39,384.00 for FY2018. Scott King, Electric Distribution Manager, reviewed the bid and recommends award.
This project includes the inspection and maintenance of substation facilities and equipment for the City. This is an Annual Contract for maintenance of SMEU Substations. It will be effective on May 1, 2018 through April 30, 2019.
Within the terms and conditions of the contract, the City has the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Contract extensions may be awarded administratively in the form of a letter of agreement signed by the Purchasing Manager.
