Background Information:
The City of San Marcos worked with the Normandy Group, the City's Federal Legislative consultants, to update guiding principles to aid the City staff and elected officials in advancing the interests of our community with the federal Congressional delegation and with federal agencies involved in the funding and regulation of assets and services provided by the City to our residents. The 2018 Legislative Program Guiding Principles document has been redlined to included suggested edits; furthermore, the yellow highlighted portions were additional edits added following the Council Work Session on April 3.
