Background Information:
This resolution authorizes the conveyance of easements on City property to the Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC), Inc. in exchange for a redundant power feed to the Airport.
The Airport is served by PEC with a one way feed from the west side of Airport Drive. After a series of power outages, City staff approached PEC and requested a redundant power feed due to the critical nature of the services provided by the Airport.
