Background Information:
In 2017, the City’s Slurry Seal Pavement Treatment contractor, Intermountain Slurry Seal, was unable to meet the City’s summer schedule. In addition, the City had numerous issues with the contractor’s quality of work.
For these reasons, the City has elected not to renew the contract with Intermountain Slurry Seal for another year. With approval of this interlocal purchasing agreement, the City will utilize a new contractor, Viking Construction, for FY 2018.
