Background Information:
The San Marcos City Council held a budget policy workshop on February 22, 2018 in order to develop a proposed budget policy statement to guide staff in the development of the Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget. During the workshop, Staff provided initial assumptions to City Council for consideration and posed specific questions to which City Council provided direction.
As stated by the City charter, City Council is required to hold a workshop to discuss the budget policy and provide direction to staff by the end of February of each year.
