Background Information:

The Planning and Development Services Department regularly reviews their fee schedule to ensure cost of service as well as customer service is maintained. At this time staff is recommending the following changes to the fee schedule, which was most recently amended in February of 2017.

                     Addition of Fees for implementation of Code SMTX

o                     Parkland Development Fee:                                           $400 / unit

o                     Parkland Fee-in-Lieu (single family):                      $375 / unit

o                     Parkland Fee-in-Lieu (multi family):                     $300 / unit

o                     Parking Fee-in-Lieu for any reduction from 1.05 to 0.75 / bed: $5,000 / space

o                     Parking Fee-in-Lieu for any reduction from 0.75 to 0.50 / bed:  $10,000 / space

o                     Water Quality Fee-in-Lieu:                                          $14,629 / acre ($0.34 / square foot)

o                     Detention Fee-in-Lieu (based on impervious cover):                                          

                     $7.35 / sq. ft. (up to 7,000 sq. ft.)

                     $4.77 / sq. ft. (7,001-28,000 sq. ft.)

                     $2.50 / sq. ft. (28,001-68,000 sq. ft.)
