BACKGROUND:
McKee Avionics, Inc. (“McKee”) is an existing commercial tenant that specializes in the installation of aircraft avionic equipment. McKee has been a tenant of the Airport since 1990, is the only avionics specialist on the airfield, and is currently in good standing.
The original ground lease expired September 30, 2016 and is currently month-to-month at the original rate of $62.50 per month. The new lease is for McKee’s continued occupancy of their current hangar at a facility rate.
The facility lease is short-term (2 years) at a rate of $2,531.25 per month. McKee will be required to obtain a building inspection and make all necessary repairs within the first 90 days of the lease to fulfill the maintenance obligations outlined in their original lease. Additionally, McKee will replace all exterior signage upon approval of Airport Management.
