BACKGROUND:
The City Council previously approved Consent Agreements for the creation of LaSalle Municipal Utility Districts Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (Ordinance No. 2013-18 and Ordinance No. 2014-13). These MUDs were subsequently created by the Texas Legislature.
Two amendments to the Consent Agreements have been approved by City Council to extend the deadline to hold a confirmation election
At this time the applicant is requesting to clarify the provisions for Expiration and Dissolution of the Districts, to extend the timeframe for payment of the Master Development Fee and to amend the provisions regarding Assignment of the Agreement.
Staff finds this amendment request is consistent with Chapter 70 of the City’s Code of Ordinances and recommends approval of the request as presented.
