BACKGROUND

The City of San Marcos, City of New Braunfels, City of Kyle, and Texas State University are all Phase II Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) communities.  As such, each entity has similar stormwater training requirements mandated by the MS4 stormwater permit.  To minimize costs, the cities and Texas State University are combining resources to host a Small MS4 conference to meet each agencies training needs. Each agency will send participants to the conference.  By hosting the conference, each agency should realize a cost savings when compared to sending multiple participants to out-of-town conferences.

The total estimated budget for this conference is $2,500.00.  Vendor sponsorships are projected to cover all conference costs.  However, the parties acknowledge that there is always the possibility that sponsorship funding may not cover the cost.  In this event, no party shall pay more than $625.00.
