BACKGROUND

 

The applicant is proposing to continue to serve mixed beverages at the Chipotle restaurant. This restaurant has been open approximately one (1) year and has a gross floor area of 2,209 square feet with an indoor seating capacity of 52, as well as an outdoor seating capacity of 30. The outdoor seating is located on a patio that faces Centerpoint Road. Chipotle has 27 parking spaces to serve the restaurant.  

 

The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday - Sunday. According to the application, the applicant has no plans for additional entertainment facilities on the site.

 

Staff provides this request to the Commission for your consideration and recommends approval of the Conditional Use Permit with the following conditions:

 

1.                     The CUP shall be valid for three (3) years, provided standards are met, subject to the point system; and

2.                     The CUP shall be posted in the same area and manner as the Certificate of Occupancy.
