BACKGROUND

During the Early Voting period of the November 8, 2016, election an equipment box that was assigned to the Hays County Government Center was not properly logged and therefore was not counted. An internal investigation by the Hays County Elections Administrator, Jennifer Anderson, showed that the Reconciliation Log did not have complete information.  The Mobile Ballot Box was not counted and its votes were not contained within the canvassed vote totals.  This Resolution formally recognizes those votes cast, but will not change the canvassed vote totals.
