BACKGROUND:
The attached professional services agreement for $149,875.00 with Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN), will consist of providing Preliminary Engineering, Final Design, Bid and Construction Phase Services for the Coers Drive Improvements Project. The project will provide storm drain improvements; replace 1,170 LF of wastewater main and 1,050 LF of water main on Coers Drive, from Old Ranch Road 12 to Owens Street. The scope also includes the design of approximately 1,050 LF of 5' sidewalks.

In 2015, the City asked Halff Associates to investigate the drainage runoff associated with the Old Ranch Road 12 Bike/Pedestrian and Widening project. It was determined that there will be a negligible increase in runoff associated with the road widening. Since a portion of the project drains to Coers drive, Halff Associates investigated the current drainage on Coers.
